Installing hardwood flooring doesn’t require any special skills. Unlike other methods, you don’t need to be a professional carpenter or an amateur. You don’t need to have these skills. To understand how hardwood floor panels work, you will need to have the right tools
Broom and dustpan: As you learn how hardwood floors are installed, you’ll need to clean up after yourself.
Carpenter’s Crayon – This can also be used to draw guidelines for your subfloor. It can be used to draw lines and cut hardwood panels.
Claw Hammer: Use your claw tool to reach areas where a mallet would be difficult to swing.
Cutter Knife – This knife is useful for any unexpected tasks during installation of hardwood floor. This knife’s main function is to remove excess lumber if it is necessary to make adjustments less than 1 millimeter.
For drilling pilot holes, you will need an electric drill and 332″ drill bits. They should be slightly smaller and shorter than your nails. This will prevent flooring panels from cracking after you have nailed them.

Two options exist for nailer: a hammer and a pneumatic guns. Although the pneumatic nail gun is quicker and more efficient than the hammer, it can be more difficult for a technician to calibrate so that nails do not sink too deep in wood. This could cause damage to hardwood panels.
Rubber Mallet: Here’s your chance to make a mess and learn more about hardwood floor installation. It is important to pound the panels gently to make them fit together. Don’t place them too far apart. If they are too close together, crevices may form on your floor. But if you try to force them together too tightly, they could be bent or damaged.
Circular Saw- Use a circular saw to cut your floor boards so that they fit into the corners. Cut the fixtures in your room.
